It's alive! It's alive!

Last week, in reference to Cold FX, I commented " I think if I'm not feeling better by -say, Monday, I'll give the stuff a thumbs down." Well, it's Wednesday, and I'm feeling a bit brighter - but I don't think I'll pay $15 for a course of Cold FX again.

On the other hand, maybe I have the galloping desert plague or something, and I can't blame Cold FX for not curing that. I had a doctor's appointment this morning, during which I nearly choked to death. My doctor looked horrified, went off to get me an inhaled steroid, and then said "You haven't been in the desert, have you?" Well, as a matter of fact... "When you've been in the desert, we always have to worry about weird stuff."

So off I went for blood work and chest x-rays, and next week I'll go to the ophthalmologist to determine why I'm seeing double from time to time. So maybe I caught weird stuff when I was in the desert. Maybe I can get a referral to Dr. House.

But in fact, I think I've got a horrid cold and my eyes are going screwy, and I suspect I'll live.

Meanwhile, life in the Land of Blog has been going on, as life does. Before I came into my own blog, I glanced down my bloglist and checked to make sure that Angie wasn't really pregnant with twins - ah, yes, it is the first of April - and now I'm going to see about catching up on a week's worth of blogs.

Hi Sandra:

You've certainly been missed. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Never heard about the desert "weird stuff"....

Thanks, John. I'm going to have to Google 'desert weird stuff' myself.

OH MY GAWD SANDRA! You don't really want to go to House. He'll just about kill you before he stumbles on to what ails ya. Scary thought.

....looking out for you since your obviously not thinking clearly, still being under the weather and all

LOL! You're right. What was I thinking?

Fortunately, I'm feeling much better this morning. I do believe I'm on the mend, so I won't be needing the services of Dr. House.

Thanks for the intervention. ;>)
